Bangabandhu Satellite

Bongobondhu 1 the first communication Satellite of Bangladesh launched on 11 May 2018 from a SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket. The official codename of the launch was BANGABANDHU SATELLITE-1 MISSION.

The Bangabandhu 1 and Its future project Bangabandhu 2,3,4 will be operated by Bangladesh state-owned company Bangladesh Communication Satellite Company Limited (BCSCL).

The 7,700-pound (3,700-kilogram) satellite was built on Thales Alenia Space’s Spacebus 4000B2 spacecraft platform and Itys have  14 C-band transponders and 26 Ku-band transponders.

This is a historic moment for the people of Bangladesh as well the Elon Musk Company SpaceX, The Bangabandhu Satellite-1 mission served as the first flight of Falcon 9 Block 5, the final substantial upgrade to SpaceX’s Falcon 9 launch vehicle.

Bongobondhu 1 Will Enhance Secure Government and Military Communication of Bangladesh.

 

Bangabandhu Satellite Live Position in Space :

Bangabandhu Satellite-1 is fitted with 26 Ku-BandIt offers capacity in Ku-Band over Bangladesh and its territorial waters of the Bay of Bengal, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Philippines and Indonesia;

This is the Live position of Bangabandhu 1 Satellite in space.



Its have 14 C-Band transponders it also provides capacity in C-Band over the whole region.

 

 

 

 

Bongobondhu 1 geostationary orbit allow its to stay focus on its own area.

 

 

 

 

History of Satellite in Bangladesh
