36 Thousand COVID 19 Patient and 522 Death in Bangladesh

A total of 36,651 has been identified as Covid-19 patients in Bangladesh.  522 people died of the Covid-19 in Bangladesh. In the last 24 hours, 5,408 samples were tested in and 1,116 Covid-19 patients were identified,  21 people have died at this time.

Additional Director General of the Department of Health Professor Nasima Sultana told a regular briefing that 245 people have recovered in the last 24 hours and a total of 7,579 people have recovered.

She said that the rate of identification of patients by testing the samples is 21.57 percent.

Earlier on Monday, the Bangladesh Health Department had identified a maximum of 1,985 Kovid-19 patients.

Professor Nasima Sultana said 14 of the dead were men and seven were women. One of them is under 10 years of age and one is between 11 and 20 years of age.

There are also two between the ages of 31 and 40, five between the ages of 41 and 50, seven between the ages of 51 and 60, three between the ages of 61 and 60, one between the ages of 61 and 70, and one between the ages of 61 and 90.

Fifteen of the dead were residents of Dhaka division. Four from Chittagong division and four from Barisal division. Twenty of them died at the hospital and one died at home.

Dhaka residents are among the most affected by the coronavirus. As of Monday, 14,065 people have been infected with Covid-19 in the Dhaka metropolis.

According to Johns Hopkins University and Medicine, a total of 54.99 million people are currently infected with the coronavirus worldwide. Among them 3 lakh 46 thousand 328 people have died. A total of 16 countries or regions around the world have been infected with the coronavirus.

The first Kovid-19 patient was identified in Bangladesh on March 8. However, the first death in Bangladesh was due to coronavirus on March 17.
