Khaleda Zia’ tests positive for Coronavirus COVID-19

Former Bangladesh Prime Minister and BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s tested positive for COVID-19.

The sample was collected at Gulshan residence in the capital around 3 pm on Saturday. The samples were sent to the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh, for testing on Saturday

However, Khaleda Zia’s personal physician said. Quoting Mamun, BNP chairperson’s press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan told that it was a regular health check-up of the chairperson.

Khaleda Zia is on bail by the executive order of the government. However, BNP leaders have been alleging that she has been kept under house arrest. she had to go to jail on February 8, 2016, in a corruption case. After more than two years in prison, the government released her on six-month bail at the request of his family after the Coronavirus epidemic escalated last year. He is currently undergoing treatment at his residence Firoza in Gulshan. No one can meet Khaleda Zia except her family members and personal physicians.
