Saudi Arabian & UAE Foreign Ministers in Pakistan to Discuss Kashmir Issue

As a result of a telephone conversation between Saudi Arabian Crown prince and Defense Minister Mohammad bin Salman and Pakistan PM Imran Khan on 3 September. A delegation of the foreign minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia’s state minister for foreign affairs arrived in Pakistan on Wednesday 4 September 2019. The Visit comes at a time when the lockdown in occupied Kashmir nears a month after India’s illegal and unilateral August 5 move. Earlier Pakistani FM Qureshi said the prime minister had “good interaction” with the crown princes of Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

The two Gulf allies will hold talks with Khan, Quresh and Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, where they will discuss bilateral relations, according to Khaleej Times.

Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan were received by Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
