Coronavirous In Bangladesh

2020 coronavirus pandemic in Bangladesh started by migrant workers coming back home from affected European countries . Emigrant workers from Bangladesh gradually increased over the years . There is more than 10 million Bangladeshi work abroad.

1- On 5 March 2020, the Government of Bangladesh restricted entry of travellers from Italy, South Korea, Japan, and Kuwait if they did not have recent medical certificates
2)On 7 March, the IEDCR confirmed the first coronavirus case in Bangladesh. The patients were two male expatriate Bangladeshis who had just returned from Italy
3)On 8 March, IEDCR director Prof. Meerjady Sabrina Flora announced at a press conference in Dhaka that two men and a woman had tested positive for the coronavirus.
4)On 12 March, the first two coronavirus patients tested negative for COVID-19 after having fully recovered from their infection
