Syed Ashraful Islam Dies Aged 68

The first day New cabinet took oath the veteran freedom fighter and politician Sayed Ashraful Islam (1952 – 3 January 2019) died at a hospital in Bangkok today . He was a member of parliament and Minister of Public Administration of the Government of Bangladesh .
He is the eldest son of Syed Nazrul Islam, acting president of the Mujibnagar government in 1971.

Ashraful Islam who had been suffering from lung cancer for a long time breathed his last at the Bumrungrad Hospital around 9.45 pm.
