History 

Bangladesh University of Health Sciences was formerly known as ‘Bangladesh Institute of Health Sciences’. It started operations in November 2012 as a university funded by Bardem. This fully specialized university has four faculties. Bangladesh University of Health Sciences is the only private university in the country where only science related subjects are taught.
