Author: Pinaki Bhattacharya

Pinaki Bhattacharya is a Bangladeshi physician, author, and social activist currently living in exile in Paris due to political repression by the Bangladeshi government. He later emerged as a vocal critic of authoritarianism, state violence, and historical distortion. His commentary—shared through books, blogs, and a widely followed YouTube channel—has made him a prominent voice in South Asian political discourse. Pinaki holds an MBA from Sorbonne Business School and is pursuing a PhD in sustainability. He has authored 19 books and continues to advocate for democratic accountability and human rights from abroad. Bdnewsnet.com publishes select writings, translations, and commentaries by Pinaki Bhattacharya with his explicit permission. We are honored to feature his work as part of our commitment to independent thought, political analysis, and investigative journalism. All content is edited by Aziz Tarak, and may occasionally be translated from the original Bengali to ensure clarity and accessibility for a wider audience.
