In the 2nd ECNEC meeting of the fiscal year (FY20) approved eight projects involving USD 612 Million or BDT 5142 Corror. Of the total project cost, BDT 4,129.81 crore will come from the Government Fund while Taka 1,012.55 crore from project assistance.

Export Diversification
RMG sector constitutes 82 percent of exports of Bangladesh. To diviersify, the export market World Bank Backed project Export Competitiveness for Jobs received 120 Million USD. The project aims to improve the competitiveness of existing and potential export-oriented industries such as leather, footwear, plastics, and light engineering what aims to create 90,000 jobs in non- Ready Made Garment (RMG) export sectors. World Bank providing $100 million financings which provides grants or zero-interest loans, has a 38-year term, including a six-year grace period, and a service charge of 0.75 percent .
Development of roads in Dhaka Division
The project includes some 1001.51 kilometers road and 240 intersections development and construction of 5,857 meters of bridges and culverts as well as 30 kilometers drain and some 12,000 square meters of slope protection. The project will be implemented at 67 Upazilas in 13 districts of Dhaka Division
